The big financial institutions are dropping like attendees at a Jim Jones cocktail party. Cable news reporters are hyperventilating and tossing out absolutely worthless advice and statements worthy of an Orwell radio show. In light of all this, the Columbia Journalism Review’s “The Audit” has the best advice I’ve seen yet:
