Taste of Austin & Texas: Eric Johnson’s “Cliffs of Dover”

For those of you not in Austin, a taste. This time it’s Eric Johnson’s phenomenal work called “Cliffs of Dover: from Ah Via Musicom. That album was my road-trip music when I lived out in Alpine, Texas. I would take the top off a friend’s Jeep, crank the volume up loud on her Blaupunkt deck and floor it on those long, open roads under a gorgeous West Texas sun. Enjoy.

This is Johnson playing on an episode of Austin City Limits; not sure of the particular details.
